Jeff Bartos: Supports security for Israel, against Iran nuclear deal

Bartos, for his part, suggested that he may opt for a middle path, expressing admiration for a broad array of Trump's policies both domestic and foreign. As a Jew who is deeply invested in Israel's security, Bartos was perhaps most enthusiastic about the Trump administration's recent achievements in the Middle East, including the Abraham Accords, as well as Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.

Jeff Bartos: Hold China accountable, for moving embassy in Israel

Holding China accountable, making sure that America continued her important role to be the leading light onto all nations. Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, moving the American Embassy, the Abraham Accords, pulling us out of the disastrous JCPOA--some people call it the Iran nuclear deal. I think all of those policies I'm not only comfortable discussing, but enthusiastic to discuss.

Jeff Bartos: U.S.-Israel relationship is sacred to me and to our family

The U.S.-Israel relationship is sacred to me and to our family. It's been something that we've really devoted the last eight years of our life to--our daughter Sarah attended Jewish day school in the Philadelphia suburbs, is very active with Chabad on her college campus. So we as a family are deeply committed not only to the health and well-being of the State of Israel, but more importantly, a very, very strong U.S.-Israel relationship.

Joe Biden: Opposition to European alliances like NATO is dumb

Biden did not mince words when discussing the Trump administration's foreign policy, specifically criticizing the administration's skepticism towards the European Union and North Atlantic Treaty Organization. "Both of those, for the first time in 70 years, are under attack," Biden said, labeling the Trump administration's opposition to the two organizations as "the dumbest thing in the world."

Joe Biden: US can't do it alone: stay engaged in the world

Biden discussed how it's important to reassert the U.S.' commitment to the world. "Seventy percent of American people think we should stay engaged in the world," he said. "We're being told that somehow America wants to walk away, not from our obligations but from our opportunities. Tell me, name me one consequential problem from global warming to the nuclear arms race that can be solved by us alone? Name me one."

Scott Wagner: We are an exceptional nation because we self-correct

There is no debate that America has equality issues, and that we have much work to do. But we are an exceptional nation because we self-correct. We are not where we need to be, but we are on the way--only because we have the freedom to make it happen.

Katie McGinty: Defeat terrorist threats while upholding America's values

In order to respond to the threats we face, we need the strength and support of our allies. Israel is a critical partner for our national security and as a Senator, I will do all that I can to ensure Israel's security, as any threat to Israel poses a threat to our nation's interests as well.

Our men and women in our military deserve the very best and as Senator, I will work to guarantee that our military remains the best-equipped and best-trained military in the world to meet the changing threats of the 21st century.

These are challenging times, and nothing is more important to me than keeping our families safe and secure. Fighting terrorism both at home and abroad is a growing challenge but we can defeat terrorist threats while upholding America's values and principles. [Source: ]

John Fetterman: Proactively engage in preventative diplomacy

We live in a complex, ever-changing world that requires American leadership and diplomacy. But unfortunately throughout the course of my lifetime, we've followed the direction of too many saber-rattling 'experts' out there who have led us down the road toward costly wars of choice. And it's those costly wars of choice that have put too many American men and women into harm's way.

We should be engaging in preventative diplomacy, and proactively working with other countries to improve relations -- not just reaching out to them when things go south. We should embrace a foreign policy framework that will not bankrupt future generations and allow us to hit our own domestic priorities.

Rick Saccone: Don't trust UN vetting: pause all Syrian refugees

I have seen editorials comparing a pause in Syrian refugee settlement to desecration of the Statue of Liberty's inscription that reads "huddled masses yearning to breathe free." The present situation is much different. Peppered among the so-called "huddled masses" of Syrian refugees "yearning to be free" are radicalized jihadists yearning to kill us.

Some say we should not react in fear, and that by slowing down the refugee program the terrorists win. Wrong again! A pause is not a reaction of fear but a calculated response designed to ensure the safety of Americans from terrorists.

Some say the United Nations already employs a vigorous 18-24 month vetting process for refugees, including biometric data and detailed face-to-face interviews. That process can be effective where the refugees are sincere & their plight is authentic. But we now have a stated & demonstrated threat of subverting the process by radical jihadist ISIS members infiltrating the stream of genuine refugees.
